With the Pistons knocking down 8 of their 13 3-point attempts and no Lillard/Middleton/Portis/Rollins, it’s surprising that it’s this close. – 9:10 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo only tallied 7 assists last night, but he created 22 potential assists.
Without Lillard for a second straight game, the Bucks will need to lean into the same strategy tonight. (And probably hit a few more 3s.)

More on this storyline

Tim Reynolds: With Giannis Antetokounmpo and Victor Wembanyama both reaching 50 points, this becomes the 25th different day in NBA history where the league had two scorers hit 50 . -via x.com / November 13, 2024
I could certainly see the Bucks doing some kind of deal, if not more than one, before the Feb. 6 deadline. But in terms of the big stuff that comes with their team’s calculus — Giannis, Dame, Doc and Khris — I don’t see anything changing. For those asking about whether Rivers could be on the hot seat, let’s not forget the Bucks paid him approximately $40 million on a three-and-a-half-year deal less than a year ago. What’s more, Horst is facing pressure because of how these past few seasons have gone, and league sources are skeptical he’d be given the leeway to make another coaching change this soon . -via New York Times / November 12, 2024
Matt Barnes: “This weird behavior isn’t very surprising. I mean, Giannis has a track record of doing some questionable stuff if you look back. And, obviously, I think the way this team has been playing might be driving him a little crazy. You know, he might be tripping a little bit. 2-and-8. They beat the two record-wise worst teams in the league: Philly being one and Utah being the other. Middleton’s hurt, coming off double ankle surgery, he hasn’t been available. Brook Lopez is getting older. Portis, you know, his numbers are down from last year. Giannis and Dame are playing great, but are they a good duo together?” -via YouTube / November 12, 2024
