More fun minor league name changes please!

Happy Wednesday, everyone, and to all our Canadian readers we hope you had a lovely Canada Day yesterday! The Tigers and Nationals will be taking on a doubleheader today, so that’s double the game enjoyment for you guys.

Until the first game gets started this afternoon, though, we have some fun little news bites to share, including a new AL Player of the week who we know and love, a fun rebranding for the SeaWolves, and more!

Detroit Tigers News:

• True blue fandom right here.

• Tigers affiliate club, the Erie SeaWolves were the winners of the Last Week Tonight minor league promo night, so for four games, they will be playing as the Moon Mammoths. Incredible.

• No surprises here, but Taril Skubal is the AL player of the week.
