We have survived the wildest part of the season.
Well, the trade deadline is over and the Tigers added plenty of pitching options to the bullpen and starting rotation. While the names might not be superstars (remember 11 years ago when the Tigers traded for David Price?), the moves were measured and specific. Time will tell how they play out (we’ve already seen some decent things from Paddack), and now that the deadline has passed, there’s one more thing looming on the horizon: the postseason.
Things need to get serious for the Tigers, who have finally started to win games again, will need to keep doing that. Deep analysis, I know.
