Jet-setter or Staycation, where did you love to visit most?
We all love a good break. Work hard, play hard, and it’s important when you get a break you really enjoy it. Whether that means chilling at home and disconnecting from job responsibilities, or touring areas local to you, or going to a different state or country. A change of scene can do the brain and soul a lot of good.
In our off-topic thread today, as the Tigers head off to some new scenery for their next road trip, we’re talking “Best vacations ever!” Where was your most memorable destination ever. (Side story: my one and only trip to Detroit might have been my WORST vacation ever, no fault at all to Detroit itself, which was lovely, but I was sick, had pulled my back on the day I left, and then got to watch the Tigers lose the World Series in Game Four in the freezing cold)
But we’re not getting into bad vacations here, we want to know the best trip you’ve ever been on, whether because of something fun you did there, or because the destination itself was just so memorable. Maybe it’s a place you love so much you go back all the time (a family cottage, or a routine camping trip perhaps?)
It doesn’t need to be fancy, it just needs to be yours.
