After a long but successful road trip, the Motor City Kitties head back to Comerica Park.
The Detroit Tigers finally return home to Comerica Park on Friday after a long West Coast road trip, coming back to the D with a 7-3 mark over the past 10 games.
Believe it or not, ladies and gentlemen, the Olde English D is now tied for the best record in Major League Baseball with the Los Angeles Dodgers — who swept AJ Hinch’s squad out of California to open the season.
Next up for the Motor City Kitties are the Texas Rangers , who arrive on Friday to face off inside Comerica Park to open a three-game weekend series. The visitors have struggled to keep their heads above water, bringing a sub-.500 record into play while having lost six of their last eight.
This is the first time the Tigers have at least a share of the best record in baseball in May or later (excluding 2020) since through games of May 23, 2014
