Bolster the bench? Pick up a rookie? What would you do?
We’re now a full month into the season, which is more than enough time to have assessed who is off to a hot start (we see you, Spencer Torkelson) and who is not (I won’t name names, but we know…). We’ve also had the time to see highlight reels from other teams, hear about hot rookies, and get an idea of who is doing well on other teams.
So with all that in mind, our Open Thread topic this week is all about making trades. So let’s put our front office caps on and decide who we would move, and who we would grab. Now, a caveat here: the trades need to be at least somewhat realistic. You’re probably not going to be able to grab Shohei Ohtani for Ryan Kreidler.
Assess what needs the Tigers currently have, take a look at who is doing well out on the open market (even if they’re not actually on the market) and pitch your best trade suggestions below!
