Greg Cronin was hired in June 2023 to replace Dallas Eakins , bringing a reputation for player development from his time with the AHL’s Colorado Eagles . While there were flashes of growth , particularly from younger players like Leo Carlsson and Jackson LaCombe , the on-ice results didn’t meet the club’s expectations.
