A trip to the NBA Finals is on the line
The Oklahoma City Thunder have looked like the best team in the NBA all season, and tonight they hope to fulfill that promise by punching their ticket to the NBA finals in front of their home fans. The Minnesota Timberwolves have certainly had more ups and downs throughout the season, but they ended the year on an extended run that showed they were among the league’s elite. They just haven’t been able to match the two-way prowess of the Thunder. Now facing a 3-1 hole, the Timberwolves are fighting to continue their season and send the series back to Minnesota. That will require a true superstar performance from Anthony Edwards, and someone else from Minnesota stepping up big time. The most likely candidate is Julius Randle whose stans and haters are always waiting for the game to prove their takes right, and Randle is seemingly happy to oblige both parties regularly. He needs to be more consistent, is what I’m saying.
