The Thunder look to steal a win in basketball country
We’ve got ourselves a series. The Indiana Pacers took a 2-1 series lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder, and they have one more game in front of an insane crowd of Indianapolis die-hard basketball fanatics. If they can get another win under their belt, they could take a commanding 3-1 and be on the precipice of an NBA Title. This would make them the most improbable champs since at least the 2011 Dallas Mavericks . The Thunder would also be looking at quite an enormous collapse for a team that was looking to be a wire-to-wire “best team in the NBA.” They won 68 games in the regular season and had one of the biggest point differentials in history. They field the league’s MVP, have the league’s third-best defense and top offense. They are deep and dangerous. This is supposed to be their title. But they’ll have to earn it.
