The Sixers have played very few games with their “Big 3” healthy, so of course one of those games will be against the Pistons.
Cade Cunningham is listed as questionable and new backup point guard Dennis Schroder is out with his trade still pending, so a Detroit Pistons team without a true point guard will face an uphill climb against a mostly healthy Philadelphia 76ers team. Paul George and Joel Embiid should be available for the Sixers tonight in a matchup in front of a national audience on ESPN.
The Sixers couldn’t make it three in a row, could they? Three daggers to Pistons’ heart with last-second buckets to win the game following Trae Young hitting an off-balance 22-footer for the Hawks and Darius Garland hitting a 35-footer at the buzzer for the Cavs? It can’t happen three consecutive games? Right??? Which would make it most depressing, whether it be Embiid, George, or Tyrese Maxey. I hope it doesn’t come to that.
