Pistons look to stay above .500 in fight against Pacers

The Detroit Pistons haven’t been below .500 since early January. They face the Indiana Pacers tonight to conclude a five-game road trip with the goal of ensuring that remains the case. The 23-23 Pistons have dropped two in a row, including a lopsided loss to the Cavs. The Pacers, meanwhile, have won 9 of 11 games and, in that span, have the eighth-ranked offense and third-ranked defense in the NBA. The Pistons will need someone other than Cade Cunningham to generate offense, whether that be a veteran wing like Tobias Harris or a young guard like Marcus Sasser. It’s clear that Cade can’t do it all on his own with Jaden Ivey out.
