If the Pistons win is Trae Young going to get traded?
The Detroit Pistons beat the Dallas Mavericks on Friday, and all of a sudden, Luka Doncic was traded. The Pistons beat the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, and all of a sudden, Zach LaVine was traded. If Detroit beats the Atlanta Hawks tonight, is anyone, even Trae Young safe?
I joke, but Atlanta is reeling, and I’m not sure where the answers can be found. They have lost eight consecutive games and fallen to 22-27. During that losing streak, the Hawks have the 28th-rated defense and are being outscored by 10 points per 100 possessions. The Hawks could field a heck of a lineup with all the players on their injury report. Missing today’s game are Jalen Johnson, out for the year with a torn labrum, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Clint Capela, and Trae Young is questionable. The official injury report lists him as available but other sources are saying he will miss the game. We shall see.
It won’t be a cakewalk for the Pistons, of course. Detroit is usually committed to not making games easy on themselves, and the Pistons will be playing on the end of a back-to-back.
