Pistons vs. Celtics GameThread: Game Time, TV, Odds, More

The Pistons on no rest face the defending champs. OK.

Fresh off a pretty lopsided loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers , the Detroit Pistons enter the midpoint of their brutal six-game opening-season stretch by facing the Boston Celtics on the second night of back-to-back. The Celtics have started the season blisteringly hot. They beat each of their first two opponents by at least 20 points. The task for the Pistons will be tough. For the sake of not overanalyzing things, I asked my four-year old niece what I should write about the game. I told her that I would write down whatever she said. Here it goes:

“Because you almost win. Because he’s so cool. Because you have a helmet. Go Lions!”

Thanks, Izzy.
