Plenty of rest for the Pistons, but the Celtics are still the Celtics
The Detroit Pistons are coming off perhaps their best win of the season. The Boston Celtics are coming off of a rare defeat and looking to avoid losing consecutive games for the first time this season. But what happened last doesn’t really matter when neither of these teams have played in nearly a week. This is the third time these two teams have played each other already this season, and Detroit has dropped both previous contests. In both games they took a great big punch from the Celtics but fought back to make the games competitive. But yeah, both losses. That happens when you’re playing what is likely the best team in the NBA. Maybe the third time is the charm.
