Earlier this year, Pistons legend Isiah Thomas said he wants a public apology from Michael Jordan.
“You got on national television and you called me an assh–e, and then you said you hated me,” Thomas said . “You said that on national television. Now, if you didn’t mean it, get on national television and apologize for it.”
Jordan’s former teammate, Charles Oakley, called out Thomas during an appearance on All The Smoke this week.
“He came in your city and took your city,” Oakley said . “That’s why you’re really mad. He took over Chicago.”
Thomas wasted no time responding to these comments from Oakley.
“I remember us kicking your ass a lot, some one please check my record vs any team he played on,” Thomas tweeted . “Sit down be Humble.”
For the most part, NBA fans are enjoying this never-ending rivalry between the Bulls and Pistons.
“Michael Jordan’s story isn’t as compelling if it wasn’t for Isiah and the Pistons,” Dave DuFour said.
“So glad he’s clapping back,” one fan tweeted.
Another fan wrote, “Get him Isiah.”
At this point, it seems like this rivalry between Thomas and the Bulls will never die.
