BJ Armstrong: Pat Riley and maybe a few others—right, you know, the San Antonio Spurs—everyone else literally plays the same exact way. Think about that. There are 30 teams in the league, and over 20 of them play the same exact style. So the creativity that is in the NBA right now is probably at an all-time low as far as their style of play . Everyone shoots threes, everyone runs a five-out offense, we switch on defense. And there are a few exceptions—right, you know, the Denver Nuggets—they play a different way because of Jokic. But for the most part, everyone else plays the same exact way. That’s why I’m applauding my Detroit Pistons—because we play a different brand of basketball than the others.
