Checking out a compilation of highlights and interviews of Lions draft pick Isaac Teslaa.
We knew going into the 2025 NFL Draft that wide receiver could be on the table for the Detroit Lions at some point. And while they have one of the better pass-catching duos in the league in All-Pro receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams, there was still a need for a long-term plan at the X-position once veteran Tim Patrick is no longer on the roster.
After already trading up once on day two of the draft to pick guard Tate Ratledge out of Georgia, Lions’ general manager Brad Holmes decided to move up again in to draft wide receiver Isaac Teslaa out of the University of Arkansas .
Teslaa is a Michigan native having grown up in Hudsonville, and even began his collegiate career at Hillsdale College before ending up at Arkansas. And while he may still be a bit raw in terms of his overall development as a receiver, his physical traits were more than enough to catch the eyes of NFL executives.
Standing at 6-foot-4and 214 pounds, Teslaa has the physical makeup of a traditional X-receiver while also having some top-end explosive metrics. He logged a 4.43 in the 40-yard dash, a 39.5-inch vertical, and a 10.75-foot broad jump.
Let’s jump into various highlights and interviews of Teslaa to get a better idea of what the Lions are getting in their new wide receiver.
