Former NFL tight end Brandon Pettigrew was arrested on Sunday morning. He was involved in a physical altercation at 7-Eleven.
During an exchange with the authorities, Pettigrew punched and broke a glass door. It’s unclear what set him off, but the police in Dallas were able to defuse the situation without using their tasers.
Pettigrew was ultimately arrested for criminal mischief. He was released from custody on Sunday afternoon.
There’s still no report detailing what led to Pettigrew losing his cool. However, TMZ pointed out it’s not his first time getting in trouble.
It’s not the first time Pettigrew has been in trouble with the law … in 2017, he was arrested for his alleged role in a disturbance at a bar. In 2018, he was arrested again after he was accused of hitting a police officer following a dispute over an unpaid limousine bill.
Michael Babcock of TMZ shared footage of that exchange on social media.
