Our SB Nation Reacts Survey is back for a special offseason edition. As you may have seen, the good folks over at FanDuel Sportsbook have released their latest win total projections for the upcoming 2025, and they’ve set the Lions’ number at 10.5 wins.
So that brings us to our Reacts question of the week: Will the Lions win over or under 10.5 games this season?
The Lions are coming off a 15-win 2024 season but an early exit in the divisional round of the NFL Playoffs sent Detroit into the offseason on a bit of a sour note.
So far this offseason, the Lions have worked to retain the majority of their roster that helped them break many franchise records, but there was significant turnover in the coaching ranks, as the Lions lost offensive coordinator Ben Johnson (Bears) and defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn (Jets) to head coaching positions. Lions coach Dan Campbell did a solid job filling in the holes on his coaching staff, but it’s left some NFL analysts wondering if the Lions will have some sort of setback this season.
Additionally, the Lions have what appears to be a difficult 2025 schedule ahead of them, as their 2025 opponents list features eight playoff teams from last season, with seven of those matchups coming on the road—though it’s worth pointing out the Lions were perfect on the road last season.
Alright, it’s time to vote in the poll below, wound off in the comments, and keep an eye out later in the week for the results.
