We break down notes from rookie minicamp and give our predictions and desires for the 2025 Detroit Lions schedule.
NFL schedule release is a funny thing, being released in spurts and fits, but we all wait for it because it means preparing for trips and speculating on the nature of a season. It’s not about who, it’s the when that matters in it all. With just a couple days to go, we’re going to speculate, and we’ll hit notes about Detroit Lions rookie minicamp while we’re at it.
On this episode of the Pride of Detroit PODcast, we’re breaking down everything we learned from rookie minicamp, starting with impressions and standouts and moving on to the big storylines with the top Lions draft picks. Tate Ratledge is taking snaps at center, and some draft writers are scrutinizing Isaac TeSlaa tape over one snap.
Once we empty the notebook, it’s on to the looming NFL schedule release for the Detroit Lions. They won’t play the Eagles to open the season, but who will they face on Week 1? Who’s coming to town for Thanksgiving, and how many primetime games do we expect? And will the Lions have to go on the road for Week 18 against a NFC North opponent? We speculate and break it all down.
