Will you be watching the “Receiver” series featuring Lions’ receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown on Netflix?
Finally, we got a date. After the success Netflix had with last year’s “Quarterbacks” series, the much-anticipated “Receiver” series will be available to stream on July 10. And if you didn’t already know, Detroit Lions ’ All-Pro wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown will be one of the players featured in this year’s iteration of the show.
Last year’s series was a hit, featuring the likes of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins, and the then quarterback of the Atlanta Falcons , Marcus Mariota. In addition to covering what was happening to each player on the field, the series gave viewers a glimpse of the players’ lives at home with their families and friends.
For Lions fans, this should allow for more to be learned about one of the best receivers in the NFL. Along with St. Brown, this year’s season will feature Minnesota Vikings’ receiver Justin Jefferson, San Francisco 49ers ’ pass catchers George Kittle and Deebo Samuel, and Las Vegas Raiders ’ receiver Davante Adams.
Today’s Question of the Day is:
Will you be watching Netflix’s ‘Receiver?’
My Answer: If we are being honest, I may binge the entire series in a night or two. If it is anything like last year’s season, I think Lions’ fans are going to really enjoy this.
Also, another tip of the cap to the NFL with their release date for season two. Right in the middle of the offseason.
