The Lions have won nailbiters, rivalry games, primetime games, and everything in between. Which win has been your favorite this season?
The Detroit Lions have found every way to win this season. They’ve won nail biters, rivalries, primetime games, and blowout games. Heck, they’ve won games they were supposed to lose. Some folks prefer the comfort of taking an early lead and never looking back. For others, there’s thrill in a game that comes down to the wire. Which win this season has been your favorite so far?
Question of the day: Which Lions win has been your favorite so far this season?
My answer: For me, it was the Week 4 win over the Seattle Seahawks .
That was the most fun Lions game I’ve been to in my life. It was the first teaser we got this season of a Lions team that simply does everything right, and of the feeling of being able to will the football down your opponent’s throat. It also exorcised many demons of years past, as the Lions have a storied history of losing close games to the Seahawks.
The cherry on top was the fact that it was “Monday Night Football.” It created a tremendous atmosphere, and there was a very clear narrative shift surrounding the Lions after the nation saw just how easily Detroit could impose their will against a contender.
Honorable mention also goes to the Cowboys game, for a lot of the same reasons. Minnesota was also memorable to me since the Lions toppled an undefeated team and shut up what has been one of the more obnoxious fanbases as of late. I’d be remiss to not mention the Texans game, too, an absolute thriller.
