Now that the schedule has been released, which of the Lions’ regular season games are you most looking forward to?
With the 2025 NFL regular season schedule now released, it feels like a good time to break out the calendar and start circling some dates. For the Detroit Lions and their 12 nationally televised games , it looks like it could be another exciting year.
They get out of the gates with a tough stretch including a couple of NFC North foes, followed by a trip to Maryland to play the Baltimore Ravens on “Monday Night Football” in Week 3. There is the Week 6 return to Arrowhead to play the Kansas City Chiefs , a clash with the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11.
The schedule appears to be pretty daunting as we sit here in May, but there are certainly a lot of intriguing matchups.
That brings us to today’s Question of the Day:
What game are you most looking forward to on the Lions’ 2025 schedule?
Answer: Give me that Week 10 matchup when the Lions travel to Landover, Maryland to meat the Commanders. For obvious reasons, I really want Detroit to roll into this game with the mindset that they need to remind everyone exactly who they are in the NFC. And considering this is the team that sent them packing as the one seed in the 2024 Divisional Round of the playoffs, I am betting they will be extra juiced for this one.
I will not be making the trip, but I hope plenty of Lions fans do. To be honest, the stadium is terrible when I was last there in 2013 (a Lions win), so I am sure it has only gotten worse over the last 12ish years. One thing that could make it look slightly less bad?
A Honolulu blue wave.
