What are your plans for night one of the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin?
With just under two weeks remaining until night one of the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin, now feels like a good time to start thinking about initial plans on how, and where to watch.
How many people are planning to make the trip west to watch in person? While Green Bay isn’t too far from Michigan, it would likely be a bit of a letdown after such an amazing experience in Detroit during the 2024 NFL Draft. Food, culture, history—tough to follow for the old Badger state.
As far as around Metro Detroit goes, there are always good watch-parties taking places at local bars and restaurants. The Detroit Lions will be hosting their own watch-party downtown for Lions Loyal members, and I am sure the casinos will have their festivities taking place, too.
That brings us to today’s Question of the Day:
What are your plans for night one of the NFL Draft?
Answer: Normally, my friends and I go down to Ford Field for the season ticket holder watch party that the Lions put on for us. And while it is always a great time at either the stadium or at the facility in Allen Park, this time we are opting to watch the first round from our friend’s basement setup to be more accommodating for the young children and expecting mothers in our group.
On day two we might switch locations, and typically on day three you can find us at a bar with a good cheeseburger and cheap beers.
