The POD staff make their predictions for the Week 13 slate of games in the NFL.
It’s Turkey Week, the best holiday there is because it’s synonymous with football. Here at Pride of Detroit, our staff have made their picks for not only Thursday night’s game, but the entire slate of Week 13 games.
This week, we’re looking at three games on the slate for Thursday’s Thanksgiving holiday, which kicks off with an NFC North matchup between the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS. FOX will air the contest between NFC East basement dwellers when the New York Giants travel to Texas to take on the Dallas Cowboys at 4:30 p.m. ET. For the last game of the day, the Miami Dolphins take on the Green Bay Packers from Lambeau Field at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
On Black Friday, the Las Vegas Raiders face off against the Kansas City Chiefs at 3:00 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime. No byes for any teams this week, so the rest of the NFL is back to work on Sunday with 11 games scheduled.
In the early window on Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers make a short trip to Ohio to take on a desperate Cincinnati Bengals team hoping to keep their postseason hopes alive—catch this one on CBS at 1:00 p.m. ET. In the same time slot over on FOX, a good chunk of the country—including the entire state of Michigan, will get the broadcast of the Arizona Cardinals against the Minnesota Vikings .
No late games on FOX this week, as CBS will be nationally televising a heavyweight matchup between two Super Bowl contenders: the Philadelphia Eagles vs. the Baltimore Ravens at 4:25 p.m. ET.
“Sunday Night Football” will have the San Francisco 49ers take on the Buffalo Bills from Orchard Park, NY for an 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff on NBC/Peacock. “Monday Night Football” on ESPN/ABC is an AFC showdown between the Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos at 8:15 p.m. ET.
As we have done in past seasons, our staff will be making weekly predictions for every game on the NFL schedule. Each of the Pride of Detroit staff will pick the moneyline (winner of the game, no spread), but some of the members will also pick against the spread and even the over/under lines—there’s an easy toggle button in the widget below to cycle through the settings. Also included in the widget is our records for the season in each category. You can also check out all of the odds for this week’s games courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Here is who our staff is picking on the moneyline, spread, and over/under for all 16 games on the NFL Week 13 schedule:
