The NFC Divisional round of the NFL playoffs will see the Detroit Lions (15-2) and Washington Commanders (12-5) clash at Ford Field on Saturday, January 18, 2025.

The Lions bested the Minnesota Vikings, 31-9, in their most recent outing. The Commanders picked up a 23-20 victory last time out when they took on the Buccaneers. In that last outing for the Lions, Jared Goff completed 27 of 33 passing attempts (81.8%) and totaled 231 yards through the air, completing one touchdown pass but giving away two interceptions. Jahmyr Gibbs had 23 rushing attempts and wound up with 139 yards and three touchdowns while also hauling in five receptions for 31 yards and one touchdown. Amon-Ra St. Brown ended the contest with six catches for 77 yards. For the Commanders in their last game, Jayden Daniels completed 24 of 35 passing attempts (68.6%) and totaled 268 yards through the air, connecting on two touchdown passes. Austin Ekeler had eight rushing attempts and wound up with 27 yards while also hauling in three receptions for 26 yards. Terry McLaurin found paydirt once, and ended the contest with seven catches for 89 yards.
