Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson will be one of the busiest men on the planet over the next few weeks.
Johnson is trying to lay the finishing touches on his gameplan for an upcoming battle against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In addition to that, though, he’ll be interviewing for a number of NFL head coaching vacancies.
Seen as one of the top head coaching candidates, nearly every team wants a piece of the brilliant offensive coordinator. According to the latest reporting from NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Johnson will interview with four NFL teams over the next two days.

Johnson will speak with the Carolina Panthers and Washington Commanders on Friday before meeting with the Los Angeles Chargers and Seattle Seahawks on Saturday.
After meeting with those four teams he and the Lions will face off against the Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon. Detroit and Tampa Bay are set for a 3:00 p.m. ET kickoff time and the game will be broadcast on NBC.
Lions fans might want to relish the team’s run with Johnson as offensive coordinator because it certainly seems like he’s headed elsewhere for the 2024 campaign.
