The Detroit Lions released their Week 7 injury designations and they’ve listed two starters as questionable.

The Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings have declared their Week 7 injury designations ahead of their divisional matchup on Sunday.

Let’s take a look at Friday’s injury report and get you up to date with what we know. Note that any changes from yesterday’s report will be bolded.

Ruled OUT

  • G Christian Mahogany (illness, NFI) —Still on NFI: 10 days remain in evaluation window

Mahogany has now completed two weeks of practices and is headed towards a third, after which, the Lions will have to make a decision on his status for the season. At this time, the Lions do have two open spots on their 53-man roster, but with injuries on the defensive side of the ball, those spots could be filled by defensive players, possibly even as early as this weekend.

Questionable

  • RG Kevin Zeitler (groin) — Did not practice, worked with trainers
  • CB Carlton Davis (quad) — returned to practice

While both Zeitler and Davis are listed as questionable, both appear to be headed in opposite directions. After taking two days off to rehabilitate, Davis returned to practice on Friday and appears to be in a decent spot to start this Sunday.

“Injury-wise, [Carlton Davis] CD will practice today, trending in the right direction, so it will be good to get him moving around out there,” coach Dan Campbell said on Friday morning. “And Zeitler had a little bit of a hip yesterday, so we’ll see what today looks like and go from there.”

Zeitler got a veteran rest day on Wednesday, but upon his return to practice on Thursday, he injured himself and was limited in practice. Mid-week injuries are typically bad news, and players often miss the upcoming game. Something Campbell alluded to that being the case here, though he did leave the door open to a possible quick recovery.

“I think it’ll be hard to say he’s playing, but I don’t want to say he’s out right now, I’m not there yet,” Campbell said of Zeitler.

If Zeitler is unable to play, Campbell said he was confident that Kayode Awosika would be ready to fill in. Awosika started at left guard for the Lions in Week 4, after Frank Ragnow was unavailable due to injury.

“If he can’t [Awosika] Yode will be ready to roll, Yode’s played plenty for us and has taken a ton of reps, so it’s good,” Campbell concluded.

Not listed with an injury designation

  • C Frank Ragnow (rest)
  • OT Dan Skipper (ribs)
  • S Brian Branch (knee)

Skipper and Ragnow missed Wednesday’s practice, while Branch was limited, but all three practiced in full the rest of the week and do not carry an injury designation into this game.

Vikings’ injury designations

Ruled OUT

  • LB Blake Cashman (toe)
  • CB Akayleb Evans (hip)

  • RB Aaron Jones (hamstring)
  • TE T.J. Hockenson (knee) — still on IR, in the injury evaluation window
  • G Dalton Risner (back) — still on IR, in the injury evaluation window
  • DT Harrison Phillips (shoulder)
  • EDGE Patrick Jones (shoulder)
