Thursday was a big day for the Detroit Lions’ entire 2024 rookie class.
On Thursday, the Detroit Lions announced that first-round pick Terrion Arnold has officially signed with the team. With that signing, the Lions have now officially inked all six of their 2024 NFL Draft picks.
Contract terms for Arnold were not immediately made available, but for context, here are the terms last year’s 24th overall pick (Deonte Banks) got on his rookie deal: four years, $13.6 million with the entire contract guaranteed, and a $6,875,928 signing bonus. As with all first-round picks, Arnold’s contract will come with a fifth-year option. Should the Lions choose to exercise it (come 2026), it will be another fully guaranteed year on the contract for 2028.
With Arnold’s contract done, the biggest financial decisions for the Lions are done for the team as they depart for the summer. This offseason, the Lions have handed out mega-extensions for Jared Goff, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Penei Sewell. While other extensions could be coming later in the year (Taylor Decker, Alim McNeill), there are no current indications that those deals are coming any time soon.
So with OTAs wrapped up this week, all the Lions rookies under contract, and Michigan summers now in full effect, time for a little casual fun. And it looks like Arnold is already taking advantage of that.

In fact, it looks like the entire Lions rookie class is taking a field trip down to Comerica Park on Thursday afternoon:

Looks like when the Lions start training camp around the end of July, they’ll be fully ready for the entire team to participate .
