“Inside the Den” is coming back to give a behind-the-scenes look at the Detroit Lions’ 2025 NFL Draft.
The Detroit Lions documentary “Inside the Den” has become a wildly popular series of videos for fans. The inside look at how the Lions franchise operates gives a unique perspective of the players, coaches, and administration in ways that felt impossible under previous, less transparent regimes.
The most popular episodes of “Inside the Den” has always been the ones covering the NFL Draft . We typically get a peek inside the Lions’ war room during draft day, plus footage of various meetings with prospects throughout the entire process—including NFL Combine formal visits, top-30 visits, and Zoom meetings between players and Lions coaches.
However, last year, the Lions did not release an episode covering the team’s 2024 NFL Draft class. Safe to say, some Lions fans were pretty upset.
However, fans won’t have those same gripes this year. The Lions announced on social media Monday that they will be doing the “Inside the Den” episode for the 2025 NFL Draft, and they did it in the best possible way: with Lions general manager Brad Holmes reading a bunch of mean tweets and reddit comments about Detroit’s failure to do a video for last year.

There is no announcement of a release date for this year’s “Inside the Den” video, but it’s worth noting they typically take their time with these videos. The 2023 version dropped on July 23 . The 2022 version was released on June 8 . So it will likely be at least another month before we get it.
Regardless, it’s time to rejoice! Inside the Den will be back!
