The Detroit Lions have declared their Game Day inactives for their Week 11 matchup with the Carolina Panthers.
The Lions elected to elevate Mohamad Sanu and Frank Herron from the practice squad this week, meaning they enter today’s game with 55-players on their roster. Additionally, because they have kept eight offensive linemen on their active game-day roster, they are now eligible to expand their roster from 46- to 48-players, meaning they only need to declare seven players inactive.
Here are those seven players.
Lions inactives list
- D’Andre Swift (concussion) — Ruled OUT
- WR Kenny Golladay (hip) — Ruled OUT
- WR Danny Amendola (hip) — Ruled OUT
- DL Da’Shawn Hand (groin) — Downgraded to OUT
- EDGE Austin Bryant — Downgraded to OUT
- QB David Blough
- IOL Logan Stenberg
Running backs coach Kyle Caskey said that Adrian Peterson will get the start and Kerryon Johnson will fill the Swift role “as much as possible”, while Jonathan Williams should see his first action of the season as a third option.
Golladay should be replaced by Marvin Hall in the starting lineup again, while Amendola will likely be replaced by a combination of Jamal Agnew and Quintez Cephus.
Hand will be replaced by Herron in the lineup, similarly to how he replaced Nick Williams last week.
With Matthew Stafford (thumb) a go and Chase Daniel the clear backup quarterback, Blough is inactive once again.
The Lions only needed eight offensive linemen active to get the game-day roster increase, so it’s not overly surprising Stenberg is inactive, as he has been on most weeks.
Panthers’ inactive list

- RB Christian McCaffrey
- LT Russell Okung
- RG John Miller
- CB Donte Jackson
- S Sam Franklin
