The Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings face off in the Week 18 finale. It’s an NFC North battle with some intrigue. The Lions have an outside chance at a two seed, and the Vikings have an outside chance at a playoff spot. Neither team will know if they have gotten the necessary help from other teams until tonight, so both will have to take care of their own business in the 1 p.m. ET slot.
For the Lions, it’s one more opportunity to prove their legitimacy in the NFC and potentially let off some steam following last week’s officiating disaster. Will the home crowd be in an especially antagonistic mood, or will they be excited to celebrate the team’s first NFC North crown, seeing as this is the first home game since Detroit clinched?
