The Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys are about to face off in one of the biggest matchups of Week 17. Both teams may have already clinched playoff spots, but this is a huge measuring stick game for Detroit. As for the Cowboys, they’re still battling to grab the lead back in the NFC East. That’s a big deal since Dallas has been so much better at home than away.
But Dan Campbell always has his team ready to play in primetime, and it would be foolish to think otherwise this week, even after last week’s emotional win and NFC North title.
The matchup itself is an intriguing one. Penei Sewell vs. Micah Parsons. Can the Lions pass defense even slow down the electric Cowboys passing offense? Will Jahmyr Gibbs continue his late push for Offensive Rookie of the Year against a Cowboys defense that is vulnerable on the ground?
