Come get your live updates from Wednesday’s Detroit Lions training camp practice.
We’re on to Day 7 of Detroit Lions training camp, as the team prepares to take the field on a balmy Wednesday morning.
Tuesday’s practice was a tough one for the team. John Cominsky suffered a knee injury that will reportedly hold him out for five or six months, Netane Muti went down with a shoulder injury to an unknown degree, and a few other players were missing from practice.
But, as always, camp trudges along unimpeded. The Lions are right smack in the middle of a five-practice stretch that will take them into the weekend. We’ll see if the Lions continue to ramp things up on Wednesday, or opt to scale back a little after a pair of high-intensity, padded practices.
We will continue to provide our post-practice coverage as myself and Erik Schlitt are on hand at Allen Park. That will come in the form of media session recaps, daily observations posts, and a full video recap for our Pride of Detroit Direct subscribers.
This post, however, will serve as a live thread. With practice expected to get underway at 8:30 a.m. ET, you can get live updates via Twitter using our curated Detroit Lions beat writer Twitter list here . Peep that list for the latest highlights, injury updates, general observations from practice, and player quotes from the media sessions that will follow practice on Wednesday.
Dan Campbell is expected to talk with the media around 8 a.m. ET with practice to follow shortly thereafter.
