Vegas odds for the entire Detroit Lions 2024 schedule are out, and they’re favored in nearly every single game.
Vegas doesn’t waste too much time when it comes to setting betting lines for the 2024 NFL schedule. While we already know that the Detroit Lions are slight favorites in the season opener against the Los Angeles Rams , DraftKings Sportsbook has released the opening odds for all of Detroit’s 17 games on the schedule.
Unsurprisingly, after the fantastic 12-5 season for the Lions last year, they are considered early favorites in almost every single one of their games. Of the 17 games, Detroit opens as the favorite to win in 13 of them. That includes every single home game, and road games against the Cardinals, Vikings, Colts, and Bears.
The only four games in which the Lions are not currently favored are road games against the Cowboys (+0.5), Packers (+1.5), Texans (+1), and 49ers (+4.5).
Now, before you go spending all your money on a guaranteed 13-4 season , it’s worth pointing out that nine of the Lions’ games have a point spread of a field goal or less. With a relatively tough schedule and a division that is on the rise, there will likely be a lot of close games for the Lions in 2024, and Detroit will need to continue to find ways to close out games as they did in 2023 (7-4 in one-score games, including playoffs).

While Vegas odds don’t necessarily reflect reality, it’s worth noting that last year the Lions were initially favored in 12 of their games and finished with a 12-5 record.
