A look at the Detroit Lions full schedule for the 2025 NFL season.
The Detroit Lions ’ 2025 schedule has been officially released, and there are some really interesting quirks to the schedule this year. Most notably, the Lions will be playing on both Thanksgiving and Christmas this year—sharing those honors with the Kansas City Chiefs . On Thanksgiving, the Lions will face off against the Green Bay Packers . On Christmas, the Lions will travel to Minnesota for a game against the Vikings.
Detroit is featured in five primetime games, including two “Monday Night Football” contests (at Ravens, vs. Buccaneers ), two “Sunday Night Football” games (at Chiefs, at Eagles) and a Thursday night contest right after Thanksgiving against the Cowboys.
Just as Joe Buck predicted, every single network wanted a piece of the Lions . This year, they’ll be featured on every broadcast platform: FOX, CBS, NBC, ESPN, Prime Video, and Netflix. In total, 12 Lions games are currently slated to be nationally televised. The only games that won’t be available nationally are the Bears (Week 2), Browns (Week 4), Vikings (Week 9), and Giants (Week 12). Per usual, the final game of the season has yet to be scheduled.
