Dan Campbell knows there weren’t a lot of believers when he first got started in Detroit and he hasn’t forgotten it.
After the Lions won Sunday’s game to advance to just the second NFC Championship in the franchise’s history, Campbell shot back a bit at a reporter who referenced his infamous introductory press conference.
Saying to Campbell: “There were a lot of critical people of your introductory press conference.” To which the Lions head coach replied, “You’re probably one of them. To each his own.”

Campbell has done what many thought was impossible when he first took over in the Motor City. Now they’re one win away from a Super Bowl berth.
