The New England Patriots are hoping for a jolly outcome as they face the Denver Broncos on Christmas Eve.
‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through Mile High
Not a creature was stirring, not even a fly.
The jerseys were hung by the lockers with care,
In hopes that the NFL soon would be there.
The players were nestled all snug in their threads,
While visions of Super Bowls danced in their heads.
And Bill in his hoodie, and Sean with visor,
Will battle it out to see which coach is wiser.
Denver has itself seven losses and seven wins,
They are running out of potential playoff ins.
The Broncos remain in a tight playoff hunt,
But a loss to Detroit was tough, to be blunt.
The Patriots on the field have been such a mess,
Having no quarterback only adds to the stress.
The Mac Jones experiment clearly did not work,
We’ll see his backup tonight on NFL Network.
With a little old Warner and his partner Rich,
This engaging broadcast crew won’t make you switch.
They will be commentating this primetime game,
As they whistle and shout, and call players by name;
“Now, Slater! now, Dugger! now, Parker and Zappe!
On, Wilson! on, Sutton! on, Simmons and Jeudy!
It’s the AFC East ‘gainst AFC West,
Patriots or Broncos, they’ll be put to the test.
