The Detroit Lions fell just short of making their first ever Super Bowl appearance a couple weeks back. But that’s not happening next year, if Dan Campbell has anything to say about it.
During Friday’s appearance on “PFT Live,” Pro Bowl defensive end Aidan Hutchinson shared what Campbell told him and the team going into the offseason and the coach sounds as determined as ever.
“In our exit meetings the day after [the NFC Championship loss] he’s like, ‘We’re going to the Super Bowl next year! Screw it! I don’t care what it takes,” Hutchinson said . “We were all ready to play again on that Monday and I believe it too.”

The Lions posted one of the best seasons in their franchise’s history and are stocked with young talent.
Detroit has a lot to build on going forward and they certainly have a head coach that’s as passionate as anyone leading the way.
It’s going to be long road back, but if any Lions team is prepared to make that climb, it’s certainly this one.
