Aaron Rodgers may be wearing a different shade of green these days but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t still have some Packer blood in him.
On this week’s edition of Aaron Rodgers Tuesday on the “Pat McAfee Show ,” the veteran QB offered some of his thoughts on the Lions’ winning their long-awaited NFC North title this week (and they weren’t all positive).
Um, I’m not happy. Although I’m in New York, I still want the green and gold to take the North every year. But they’ve got a good football team, Jared’s had a really nice season. Obviously [Amon-Ra] St. Brown is a fantastic receiver … two really good backs … line’s really good on both sides of the ball, defense has been playing good. … I think the NFC’s really deep.

Detroit was able to capture its first division title since the 1993 season with a 30-24 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Christmas Eve.
The Lions have been knocking on the door for a bit now so it’s great to see them finally break through (unless you’re Aaron Rodgers).
