A full list of the Detroit Lions’ pre-draft visits for the 2025 NFL Draft, including top-30 visits and local Pro Day invites.
One of the most important part of the NFL Draft scouting process is the meetings. For a team like the Detroit Lions —who place football character above all else—getting to know a draft prospect on an intimate level is critical. Whether it’s a top-30 meeting at their own facility or a formal meeting at the NFL Combine , the Lions have proven that what they learn during those sessions drive their draft habits. Looking at their meetings lists from previous years , you’ll find several player each draft who were ultimately selected by the Lions.
This year, our list is going to look a little different than previous years. We’re not including NFL Combine visits, because—quite frankly—those are erroneously reported all the time. Formal visits are not being properly distinguished from informal visits, and there is a massive difference between the two—as nearly every player at the Combine meets with every team in an informal manner.
One last caveat, I want to encourage our readers not to take this list as perfect. Oftentimes, top-30 visits get conflated with local pro day visits. Sometimes reported visits get cancelled or rescheduled. In short, the reporting on these—just like NFL Combine visits—can be a little iffy. We’re doing our best to only list the trusted sources out there, but it’s hard to be perfect in a very imperfect process.
