Michigan and the NCAA meet later this week about the Connor Stalions investigation. What will the result of the hearing be? Vote in this edition of SB Nation Reacts.

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Michigan Wolverines fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

Multiple reports last month indicated that Michigan will meet with the NCAA on June 6 and 7 in regards to the Connor Stalions advanced scouting investigation. Within 45 days of the meeting

Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore is expected to serve a two-game suspension during the 2025 season in relation to the Connor Stalions’ advanced scouting investigation. The NCAA is expected to rule on punishments within 45 days of the meeting.

One punishment has already been floated as a possibility — a two-game self-imposed suspension for Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore. While the NCAA could still punish Moore beyond anything self-imposed, Michigan reportedly would suspend Moore for Weeks 3 and 4 versus Central Michigan and Nebraska.

Moore is accused of deleting 52 text messages, which have since been recovered and reportedly show no evidence of Moore being aware of Stalions’ advanced scouting tactics. When asked about the deleted texts, Moore even said that he’s looking forward to them being released.

With Michigan’s meeting with the NCAA happening later this week, we want to know what you think the result will be. Vote below.

While Moore may have deleted texts, a severe punishment would not make sense if there wasn’t anything nefarious uncovered in said texts. While a head coach getting suspended is never a good thing, Michigan clearly would like to get this issue resolved, and they feel a two-game self-imposed suspension for Moore is enough of a concession to reach a conclusion on the matter with the NCAA.

If the NCAA were to suspend Moore for a longer duration or if they were to have other harsh penalties attached to the Stalions investigation, this issue could drag out even longer, and Michigan could ultimately fight the NCAA. Ohio State pundits and detractors of Michigan think the hammer is going to come down, while some national journalists like Pete Thamel don’t foresee major punishments coming to the Wolverines. We’ll find out soon enough how this all shakes out after nearly two years of Connor Stalions being a storyline.

How did you vote? Let us know in the comments and come back later in the week when we reveal the results.
