Michigan defensive lineman Kenneth Grant is headed to the Miami Dolphins. Here’s what Grant will bring to his new team.
Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant has an impressive resume heading into the 2025 NFL Draft . He’s an All-American and two-time All-Big Ten selection, and made 32 tackles, three sacks and five pass breakups in 2024.
Grant picked up just under 70 tackles (69) in his career and even had an interception against Penn State in 2023.

- If he can’t shed a block, he’ll just run a guy over

- Size could be an issue for some teams

Conclusion
Mason Graham is getting a lot of attention, but Grant is also going to have an impact in the NFL. He is larger than the average defensive tackle in the NFL, but he doesn’t play like he’s carrying extra weight. There’s also been some criticism about Grant’s ability to make an impact instantly, but in my opinion, he has as high of a ceiling as any of them.
Grant is a powerful player and has an incredible ability to locate the ball. If he’s not making a play on the quarterback, he’s hunting for the ball. He’s got fumble recoveries and an interception in his college career, which shows his ability to scan the field. He’s not going to go as high as I think he should, so his future team is going to get him at a bargain.
