This week’s visitors list features a ton of Michigan commits and top targets all around.
The Michigan Wolverines are starting to see momentum in its recruiting game pick up as the weeks go on. Last week, Michigan picked up commitments from two guys, four-star safety Kainoa Winston and three-star running back Jasper Parker.
This weekend, Michigan is slated to host a long list of commits and prospects this weekend for what they are calling Victors Weekend, in hopes of getting more guys locked in.
Here is the (always) tentative visitors list:
Committed prospects
Nate Marshall , Four-star DL (No. 41, No. 4 DL, No. 1 IL)
Marshall committed to the Wolverines in April. It was Lou Esposito’s first commitment as the defensive line coach for Michigan, and it sure was a major win overall. However, he still took an official visit to Auburn this month, but hopefully being in town with other commits will quell any wavering he may have.
Carter Smith , Four-star QB (No. 161, No. 14 QB, No. 23 FL)
Smith announced his commitment to Michigan back in November. He is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound quarterback from Fort Myers, Florida. He has taken on a leadership role in hopes of getting other players to join him at Michigan .
Jaylen Williams , Four-star DL (No. 236, No. 29 DL, No. 6 IL)
Williams already had his official visit this summer, resulting in his commitment just a few days later. However, he is back this weekend on an unofficial visit to help recruit for the Wolverines. It should also be a great opportunity for him to connect with other commits, like Marshall.
Bobby Kanka , Four-star DL (No. 383, No. 42 TE, No.4 MI)
Kanka is another defensive line recruit who’s still taking visits elsewhere, as he officially visited East Lansing last weekend. He has been committed to the Wolverines longer than any recruit in his class — doing so last August — so hopefully this visit to Ann Arbor reassures him that it’s the best place for him to go to college.
Eli Owens , Four-star TE (No. 404, No. 21 TE, No. 13 TN)
Owens announced his commitment to Michigan at the beginning of the year. He’s a 6-foot-1, 243-pound tight end from Tennessee. He projects to the Max Bredeson fullback role in Michigan’s offense.
Uncommitted prospects
Andrew Marsh , Four-star WR (No. 48 overall, No. 7 WR, No. 12 TX)
A last second addition to the official visitors list is Marsh, who is the highest ranked wide receiver left on the board for Ron Bellamy. The 6-foot-1, 173-pounder reportedly canceled his official visit to Oklahoma — which was the perceived leader for Marsh — and will instead be in Ann Arbor. He unofficially visited a couple months back, so his interest in the Wolverines is legitimate. Multiple insiders have claimed they are “close” to putting in predictions, so keep a real close eye on this one moving forward.
Ivan Taylor , Four-star S (No. 50, No. 5 S, No. 8 FL)
Taylor announced his commitment to Notre Dame back in December. He’s coming to Ann Arbor fresh off his official visit to South Bend, and he also officially visited Alabama earlier this month. Taylor seems like a good flip candidate, but where to is the question as of now.
Jordan Young , Four-star S (No. 70, No. 8 S, No. 4 NC)
Another top-100 safety is on the list to visit Ann Arbor this weekend, Young is a 6-foot, 184-pounder from North Carolina. He went on his official visit to Clemson the first weekend of June, and there are predictions in for the Tigers. He’s also visited Florida State and NC State .
Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng , Four-star LB (No. 75, No.9 LB, No. 10 FL)
Another defensive prospect in the top-100 Owusu-Boateng is the ninth-ranked linebacker and a huge target for Brian Jean-Mary. He’s been on official visits to USC, Notre Dame, and Ohio State this month, wrapping up his round of official visits in Ann Arbor. Michigan currently does not have any linebackers committed, so making him feel like a priority is of the utmost importance.
Andrew Olesh , Four-star TE (No. 130, No. 5 TE, No. 3 PA)
Olesh is one of the top tight ends in the country in this recruiting cycle at 6-foot-5 and 212 pounds. So far, he has officially visited Penn State, Florida and Alabama, leaving Michigan as his final official visit this summer.
Hardy Watts , Four-star OL (No. 217, No. 12 IOL, No. 1 MA)
On June 15, Watts announced he would make a commitment to either Michigan, Wisconsin or Clemson.

Watts already took official visits to Clemson and Wisconsin, so Michigan is his final stop. There is one Crystal Ball in each for Michigan and Clemson, so it appears those will ultimately be the schools he picks from.
Maxwell Roy , Four-star DL (No. 220, No. 25 DL, No. 8 PA)
Despite visiting Ohio State last weekend, predictions have come in for Roy to eventually commit to Michigan. The 6-foot-3, 270-pound defensive lineman from Pennsylvania has also visited Rutgers this summer. It sounds like it will come down to one of those three schools, so we should know a lot more after this weekend.
Taz Williams Jr , Four-star WR (No. 277, No. 35 WR, No. 41 TX)
Williams Jr. is a wide receiver who stands 5-foot-11 and weighs 185 pounds. He’s narrowed his list down to four schools — Michigan, Penn State, Texas A&M and SMU — and will make a commitment on July 13.
Kamar Archie , Four-star LB (No. 280, No. 32 LB, No. 9 NJ)
Archie is another guy who has taken official visits to both Clemson and Michigan, taking his visit to Clemson the first weekend of June. That was followed by official visits to Texas A&M and Rutgers. There is a Crystal Ball in for Clemson, so this weekend is a prime opportunity for Michigan to make a move.
Jacob Washington , Four-star WR (No. 320, No. 45 WR, No. 8 LA)
It’s refreshing to see another four-star receiver on the visitors list in Ann Arbor this weekend, and I can imagine it’s also a welcome sight for Carter Smith. Washington is a 6-foot-3, 180-pounder with a ton of offers. He’s already taken official visits to several schools, including Missouri, Baylor and Georgia Tech .
Kaden Strayhorn , Three-star OL (No. 436, No. 28 IOL, No. 58 FL)
Strayhorn, who originally hails from the state of Michigan, plays at IMG Academy in Florida. He’s a 6-foot-3, 295-pounder, and while he doesn’t have the stars, he’s still getting a lot of offers from top schools. He’s had Michigan in his top-12 list of schools since the beginning of March.

Strayhorn, who is a Michigan State legacy prospect, is being recruited to play center at Michigan.
Chase Taylor , Three-star LB (No. 571, No. 60 LB, No. 59 GA)
Taylor is a three-star linebacker at 6-foot-3, 201 pounds. He has been one of Jean-Mary’s top priorities at the position in this class. Earlier this week, a Crystal Ball came in for Michigan to land Taylor, so hopefully he will be a Wolverine after this visit.
