Michigan gained some momentum on the recruiting trail and it feels like things are starting to pick up.
A lot of good news came in for the Wolverines this week on the recruiting front. On Monday four-star defensive lineman Jaylen Williams announced his commitment to Michigan. This week. a recruiting prediction also came in for four-star defensive back Kainoa Winston, a top-100 player from Washington D.C. Oh, and Michigan hired Ohio State ’s Assistant AD of Football Recruiting and Events as the new Director of Operations.
Up next is another batch of official visitors. Here’s the (always) tentative list of recruits set to visit this weekend.
Andrew Babalola
, Five-star OL
As you can imagine, this five-star offensive lineman has a lot of offers from across the country. He’s a 6-foot-6 lineman from Overland Park, Kansas. Michigan made an offer in Sept. 2023.
After this trip, he will see Oklahoma next weekend. He’s coming off an official visit to Stanford last weekend and has also taken official visits to Auburn and Missouri. Michigan’s focus on winning in the trenches will hopefully move the needle in its favor.
Quincy Porter
, Four-star WR
Porter is one of the top recruits from the state of New Jersey and a top-50 overall recruit. He’s coming off an official visit with the Buckeyes last weekend. Back in May, Porter narrowed his list down to six schools.
NEWS: Elite 2025 WR Quincy Porter is down to 6️⃣ Schools, he tells me for @on3recruits
The 6’4 205 WR from Oradell, NJ is ranked as a Top 32 Recruit in the ‘25 Class (No. 5 WR) per On3

Porter is visiting Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and Alabama this summer. This is another chance for Michigan and Bellamy to highlight that it wants to do more than run the ball on every down.
Alai Kalaniuvalu
, Four-star OL
Kalaniuvalu is a four-star offensive lineman from Las Vegas. He plays for Bishop Gorman High School, along with a number of other top targets for Michigan that have already visited, like Douglas Utu, Derek Meadows and SJ Alofaituli. He’s coming off official visits with Utah, USC, Cal, and Nebraska, with a trip to Oregon still on the schedule.
Michigan offered Kalaniuvalu in May 2022. While Michigan has seen more changes on the defensive staff, the continuity on offense sure helps in recruiting situations like these. There aren’t any predictions yet for where he’ll end up.
JaDon Blair
, Four-star S
Blair is a four-star safety from North Carolina. He’s one of the top players in the state. This is his second trip in a matter of months, as he was on campus back in March.

He’s had an offer from the Wolverines since Dec. 2023. Last weekend, he took his official visit to Notre Dame, which has been viewed as the leader in this recruitment. He’s also been on official visits to Virginia Tech , South Carolina and Louisville. He’s also scheduled to visit Florida State and Penn State.
Shamari Earls
, Four-star CB
Earls is committed to South Carolina, but is keeping his options open. Earls is a fringe top-100 overall prospect at No. 102 overall on 247Sports’ composite. LaMar Morgan has made a huge impact in this recruitment, as being able to get him on campus is a major move. He will also officially visit Georgia next weekend, so this is definitely one to keep a close eye on.
Note: It’s unclear if this is an unofficial visit or an official one, but he’s definitely on campus, per his social media.
Jasper Parker
, Three-star RB
Parker is a three-star running back from the state of Louisiana. Michigan only recently made an offer to Parker, having done so back in March. He was in Ann Arbor in April for an unofficial visit and had great things to say about his time.
Had a great visit at @UMichFootball I appreciate the hospitality and culture you guys showed can’t wait to get back on campus @19Bellamy @Coach_SMoore @CoachTonyAlford @Jack_Dunaway96 @UMichAthletics @EJHollandOn3 pic.twitter.com/zw6sGDqZ9e
— Jasper Parker (@jasperparker06) April 20, 2024
Parker also holds offers from Alabama, Florida State, Miami, Penn State, Tennessee, USC and more.
Phillip Wright
, Three-star WR
The three-star wide receiver from Louisiana isn’t the biggest athlete at 5-foot-11 and 160 pounds. Despite his size, he has picked up interest from a number of top schools, with visits to LSU and Georgia coming up this summer, too. In May, he announced his top 10 schools.

Shaun Terry
, Three-star WR
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound Ohio native was originally committed to Notre Dame , but decommitted at the beginning of June. He quickly set up this official visit to Ann Arbor, as Bellamy tries to get on the scoreboard in this recruiting cycle. He also just took an official visit to Missouri this past weekend, and holds other offers from Oklahoma, Oregon, Auburn, Ole Miss and more.
