Urban Meyer sounds fired up for the Rose Bowl between No. 1 Michigan and No. 4 Alabama.
On this week’s edition of “Urban’s Take with Tim May,” the three-time national champion said the Alabama-Michigan game will come down to which team wins the battle in the trenches.
“This will be a line of scrimmage game, which the Wolverines are really good at,” Meyer said, via On3. “I think this is a great balance, I was hoping that would be the matchup. I’m looking forward to watching this game because it’s two really good teams and two strength on strength.”
Meyer then predicted that Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe will play a huge role in Monday’s game.
“I think Milroe will be a big difference in that game,” Meyer said.
Earlier this season, Meyer raved about Milroe’s athleticism. In fact, he called him the “best athlete in college football .”
Milroe will enter the College Football Playoff with 2,718 passing yards, 468 rushing yards and 35 total touchdowns.
Kickoff for the Rose Bowl is at 5 p.m. ET.
