UAB big man Yaxel Lendeborg committed to Michigan, as first reported by Jonathan Givony .
Lendeborg is one of the top portal players in the country and averaged a double-double in back-to-back seasons for the Blazers. As a senior, he averaged 17.7 points, 11.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 33.6 minutes per game.
He hit the transfer portal to use his NCAA-granted junior college year of eligibility and picked Michigan over Kentucky, Auburn and Alabama.
Lendeborg is the third transfer to commit to Michigan this cycle, joining North Carolina guard Elliot Cadeau and Illinois big man Morez Johnson Jr .
