Michigan Football has won four in a row over the Ohio State Buckeyes. Now that we’re in the midst of the offseason, let’s relive some of the best plays from this historic run for the Wolverines:

It’s been a glorious 2,000+ days for fans of the Michigan Wolverines , as they have conquered the Ohio State Buckeyes four times in the last four editions of The Game.

This list was originally supposed to be a top-10, but there were so many great options, we decided to stretch it to 15, and we still probably missed some big ones!

Let’s have some fun in the offseason and revisit some of the top plays during this historic run for the maize and blue.

No. 15 – 2021: Blake Corum breaks for 55 yards on a bad ankle

Corum hardly played because of an injury, and Hassan Haskins had five touchdowns, but this run was the longest of the day for the Wolverines.

Blake Corum needed only 6 carries to pickup 87 yards against Ohio State.

The most impressive part? He did it on a bad ankle. He went out there and showed up when he was needed most. He made no excuses pic.twitter.com/r8kzQF2oAK

No. 14 – 2024: Dominic Zvada hits game-winning 21-yarder

Zvada was automatic all year for the Wolverines, and he hit the biggest kick of the 2024 season to win in Columbus.

A little bit of healing balm for my fellow Michigan fans. Back to when Dominic Zvada made that long walk to make it 4 straight over Ohio State.

This has been an unbelievable sports run that isn’t over yet. A golden age for Michigan Athletics! #GoBlue pic.twitter.com/jKEFGu5XuB

No. 13 – 2021: David Ojabo halts Ohio State’s late push with third down sack

Ojabo and Aidan Hutchinson combined for four sacks in the win, but this one will always be remembered for Gus Johnson’s “OH-JA-BO!” call.

Hitting the silencer after putting the nail in Ohio State’s coffin with your parents at their first game ever is an all-time moment.

No. 12 – 2022: Taylor Upshaw’s INT sets the Wolverines up to pull away

Who doesn’t love a big fella interception? Especially with the game on the line!

This Taylor Upshaw INT leads to a touchdown as Ohio State’s Big Ten title aspirations are going up in smoke for the second consecutive season…#CollegeFootball | #GoBlue

No. 11 – 2022: Mikey Sainristil saves a touchdown with PBU

A first-year corner giving up six inches and 60 pounds, but makes one of the plays of the game to keep Michigan up by a touchdown.

Mikey was so special at Michigan

No. 10 – 2024: Aamir Hall INT sets the tone early

Michigan’s defense needed a big play, and Aamir Hall delivered. This set up Michigan’s only touchdown of the day.

No. 9 – 2022: Cornelius Johnson slips a tackle and sprints for six

Down a score, Michigan needed a big play against a blitz, and Johnson delivered with his first of two long touchdowns.

No. 7 – 2022: Kalel Mullings completes pass to Luke Schoonmaker

No one was expecting this on a third-and-short when it looked like Michigan was going to just run it.

No. 6 – 2023: J.J. McCarthy delivers a dime between two defenders for a TD

An absolute dart from McCarthy to Roman Wilson put the Wolverines up two scores.

No. 5 – 2022: J.J. McCarthy hits Cornelius Johnson for a long TD

People criticized McCarthy’s deep passing all season long, but he came in clutch in that department against the Buckeyes.

J.J. McCarthy’s 69-yard TD pass to Cornelius Johnson to put Michigan up 17-13 on the road against Ohio State in 2022.

No. 4 – 2022: Donovan Edwards rushes for second long TD

My favorite part is that people will ask, “Which one?”

No. 3 – 2023: Blake Corum scores a TD one play after Zak Zinter’s injury

The play that personified the National Championship season. Next man up, brotherhood, victory.

HM – 2021: Aidan Hutchinson calls out OSU OL and then bulldozes him

  • One more just to rub it in. This was the moment Michigan fans knew the rivalry had turned and the Wolverines were the alpha dogs. Hutchinson barrels through veteran offensive lineman Thayer Munford with ease.

At #8, Aidan Hutchinson says “Let’s go bitch” and completely bulldozes Ohio State’s left tackle as Michigan beats the Buckeyes. Absolute domination. pic.twitter.com/80hM97GXlH
