We asked fans which Michigan players they want to see the most in the ReliaQuest Bowl vs Alabama. The results are in, and the voting leaders are a freshman QB and RB.
Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Michigan Wolverines fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
The 7-5 Michigan Wolverines will be facing 9-3 Alabama in the ReliaQuest Bowl on Dec. 31. With players on both teams entering the transfer portal or foregoing the bowl to prepare for the NFL Draft, there are bound to be young players receiving more snaps.
Earlier this week we asked fans which player do they most to see against Alabama. The results are in, and there are two clear favorites.
62% of those surveyed want to see Jadyn Davis play, 29% went with running back Jordan Marshall. Running back Benjamin Hall received 3%, tight end Hogan Hansen was at 2% and other players made up 5% of the vote.
Davis, a four-star true freshman, has yet to appear in a game this season despite Michigan utilizing three starting quarterbacks during the course of the year. Will anything change in the bowl game? Or will Michigan roll with Davis Warren, who’s coming off a 9-of-16 performance against Ohio State with 62 passing yards and two interceptions?
Marshall, also a true freshman, has appeared in four games this season with eight carries for 20 yards along with nine kickoff returns for 225 yards. Marshall could be a big part of Michigan’s offense in 2025 and absolutely has to see the field in the ReliaQuest Bowl.
What do you think of the results? Let us know in the comments below and come back next week for another edition of SB Nation Reacts.
