Earlier this week we asked fans who will start at quarterback for Michigan next season. The results are in and the majority of voters believe a transfer portal option will be the starting quarterback in 2025.
69% voted for a transfer portal quarterback, someone currently on the roster came in second at 19% while a 2025 recruit finished at 12%.
- Those who voted for someone currently on the roster are likely hoping that player is true freshman Jadyn Davis, who has yet to take a snap this season.
- The chances of the 2025 QB1 being a 2025 recruit took a big hit on Thursday night when No. 1 quarterback prospect and LSU commit Bryce Underwood shared a social media post that he’s likely to decline Michigan’s NIL offer. Michigan doesn’t currently have a quarterback commit in the 2025 class.
- The transfer portal quarterback market will heat up in December and it remains to be seen who the top options will be.
